365 wonderful sunrises and sunsets

This has been the greatest year of my life. You are a precious soul and you mean everything to me. You are my honey, my protector, my safe haven, my joy, my whole life sewn all into one. I thought I was born with a hole inside of me until I met you. You make me want to say all of the things that people have been saying to one another since the universe burst alive. I used to think those were words were time worn, rubbery, and cliche, but since falling for you I've learned that they're not those things. They're simple, raw, and achingly and beautifully truthful. I love you forever.

What I love most about you...

It is so hard to pinpoint the sole thing I love most about you. I love all of you, the gorgeous concoction of everything that makes Kit Kit. I do think the first thing I admired and noticed about you was your sensitivity. Sensitivity is usually coupled with weakness for some reason. But it is not weakness, you are the toughest person. My dear poetic soul, you feel things so deeply, you have nebulas inside of you. There is so much going on in that inner world of yours. I've never told you this (because I know you don't enjoy being perceived) but once when you were showering I could hear you playing music from the office. The music was sad and beautiful. I knew that every single lyric, every note, every chord progression meant something to you. It made me choke up. The way you listen to music is raw. 

Dreams for the future

One day we will live in Norway or even a nice, quiet town in England. We will have a child together (maybe two, even three). That child will be so loved and safe. You will be such a lovely mother and I will be so privileged to call you my wife. We will spend all of our holidays together, every Christmas will be spent with you and we will sip on hot chocolate and decorate the tree. We will get to see so many places; quaint towns in France, peaceful villages in Italy, rural areas of Japan where you can try so many yummy foods. We will own a small, peaceful garden where you can grow any plants your heart desires and we will have fires when it's chilly. I want to buy furniture with you. I want to pick out utensils with you and walk around Ikea holding your hand. My greatest want in this lifetime (and the next) is to spend all my years with you. That is all I want. I want it more than my next breath.
